Chiquita Mullins Lee
STRUTT REGULARS playwright Chiquita Mullins Lee. Arts Learning Coordinator for the Ohio Arts Council, has received individual artist fellowships from OAC and GCAC, and an OAC individual excellence award in creative writing. She was OAC’s 2007 Summer Writer-in-Residence at the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown, MA, and has been published in national literary anthologies. She was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and is featured on the Long Street Cultural Wall in Columbus, Ohio. Recently, she performed in Dave Carley’s play, Twelve Hours – named among Columbus Dispatch’s Best in Theater 2014 – and she writes and performs with Columbus-based Wild Women Writing. Her critically-acclaimed play, Pierce to the Soul, premiered at CATCO (2010) and has toured with A Portable Theatre Company (2014-15). She is a member of New Covenant Believers Church and has been involved in drama and media ministries. She is ecstatic to be working again with Patty, Truman, Tony and Scott; thrilled to see the work of Keya and Suzanne; and overjoyed for Past Productions to produce Strutt Regulars.
